I would also be more confident of your hair returning to it's natural colour if you used a rinse, as opposed to a more permanent dye. Hi,

But I really preferred Special Effects. The colours were just so much closer to how they looked in the bottle/sample colours. I found them much more reliable, consistent and lasted longer (plus cheaper!). Not to mention it didn't stain my skin/bathroom as badly! I got pretty close to what I was after with Manic.
